Do you want an exciting role in the ever-changing computing industry? The Bachelor study programme 鈥淐omputer Systems鈥 provides students with a thorough knowledge of the computing industry.
The objective of the course is to prepare professionals starting independent work in the field of informatics by providing them with knowledge in software engineering, computer systems development, systems analysis, database technologies and artificial intelligence.
In addition they are trained to use systems thinking and systems approach to fulfill different roles including participating in software development projects.
Graduates demonstrate professional knowledge, ethics and skills complying with IT industry standards. Students of the study programme annually receive local and international awards for the best research works, scientific papers and theses.
All International students, if English is not their first language, are required to provide a proof of English language knowledge. The following methods are acceptable:
IELTS 鈥 a minimum overall grade of 5.5, Please note that IELTS test score is valid 2 years only and older tests are not accepted;
TOEFL (iBT)- a minimum overall score 61. TOEFL institutional code for Riga Technical University is 8498. Please note that TOEFL iBT test score is valid 2 years only and older tests are not accepted;
Present a letter confirming that previous education was in English;
